National Demonstrations for Gaza

Demonstrations are being held on Saturday 3 February in London and Edinburgh to call for a ceasefire and end to the siege of Gaza.

In October, our national executive committee issued a statement on Israel and Gaza, calling for all sides, and the international community, to work to end the conflict. PCS is affiliated to both the Palestine Solidarity Campaign and the Stop the War Coalition and has supported and spoken at demonstrations held across the UK.

The marches and demonstrations are intended to put pressure on the government to call for a full ceasefire and an end to the siege of Gaza.

The next national demonstration in England will be in central London on Saturday 3 February at noon. The march starts at the BBC, Portland Place, London, W1A 1AA.

The trade union bloc is assembling from 11:30 on the corner of Cavendish Square and Margaret Street, W1G 0LD and will march to Whitehall at noon.

There is also a national demonstration in Edinburgh on Saturday at 1pm, gathering at Castlehill, Edinburgh Castle at 1pm.

Also on Wednesday 7 February there is a demonstration in Glasgow at the City Chambers at 1pm and a protest/vigil outside the Palace of Westminster, in London, also at 1pm,
