Join PCS to vote in our leadership elections

Join by 22 November to be included in our ballot to choose a new general secretary and assistant general secretary.

Our postal ballot to choose PCS’s new general secretary and assistant general secretary opened on 9 November, following Mark Serwotka’s announcement that he is retiring. The ballot closes on 14 December.

The elections for the general secretary and assistant general secretary positions are your chance to make a difference and have a say on who should lead our union for the next five years. It is vitally important that you vote in these elections.

The general secretary and assistant general secretary are the most senior elected officials in PCS, implementing union policy and managing its resources. So, your vote will shape the future of our union.

It’s not too late to join PCS and have your say.

New members

New members who join before noon on Wednesday 22 will be included in the ballot automatically. You should allow up to 10 working days from the date of joining before receiving a ballot paper, because of the way the ballot is being organised by the independent scrutineers.

Replacements

The deadline for requesting a replacement ballot paper is 5pm on Tuesday 28 November. You should request a replacement online by logging into PCS Digital.
