Fujitsu members vote for strike action over pay dispute

PCS members who work for Fujitsu Services have voted by 86% to take strike action and by 96.5% to take action short of a strike on a turnout of 87%.

Members in Fujitsu are furious at being offered 3%, when the average private sector rise is 8% and the current cost-of-living crisis is spiralling out of control.

Our claim is for a consolidated 15% increase or a £3,500 underpin, whichever is greater, along with a commitment by Fujitsu to trial a 4-day week without loss of pay.

PCS has written to Fujitsu to inform them of the result and ask them if they will reopen the pay negotiations. We have made it clear that only a significantly increased offer will prevent the union moving to industrial action.
