This is a hybrid meeting being held in person at the Civil Service Club and virtually via Zoom. This meeting is open to all activists in the Whitehall area. Once you have registered for this event you will receive a calendar invite which will also contain the instructions to join the meeting via Zoom 

  • Welcome and Introduction 
  • Speaker: PCS National President Fran Heathcote - where we are at with the national campaign and ballot 
  • Organising – Key organising tasks from now to the end of the year - Lee Barham on organising motion passed at AGM.
    • Building turnout for ballot - mass leafleting around Whitehall to build profile of the union.           
    • Launch event ‘Proud to be a trade unionist’ campaign at the start of September.
    • Materials designed and ready in August                          
    • Recruitment week in September (18 to 23 Sept)                                         
    • plan stalls, members meetings, leafleting sessions, drop ins etc.
  • New advocate process, recruiting and training
  • PCS New Joiners Sessions - introduction to PCS
  • Report on equality networks
  • AOB
