Unite Against Tommy Robinson Demonstration

Start date

Location
Central London
Who's it for
Everyone

Ex-leader of the English Defence League (EDL) Tommy Robinson, has called a demonstration of his far-right supporters in central London on 27 July.

The Stand up to Racism organisation, with support of the trade unions, including PCS, and many other faith groups, refugee and asylum seeker support groups etc are mobilising a counter demonstration on the same day.

Just as the trade unions united with others to defeat Tommy Robinson's EDL group a few years ago, it is vital that we mobilise again, in bigger numbers, to defeat the far-right threat whenever and wherever it appears.

The national Stand up to Racism group are organising transport from across the UK. You can find details of local transport on the Stand up to Racism website.  PCS members wishing to attend can claim transport costs via their regional office.
