Following on from the success of the pan equality seminar in January this year, PCS will be holding four individual Womens, LGBT+, * Black and Disabled national equality seminars in Birmingham this Autumn.

Seminar Dates 2023:

Disabled: September 23 & 24

Women: October 7 & 8

Black: October 28 & 29

LGBT+: November 25 & 26

All seminars will take place in Birmingham, at the Park Regis Hotel.

There are 40 places available at each seminar.

The purpose of the seminars is for members with an active interest in progressing the equality agenda.  Reps who are new to the role, members with interest in equality and becoming more active in their union, are all encouraged to apply.

Attendance will be limited to no more than two seminars for any member applying, as we aim to have the widest number of members participating in these seminars.

Deadlines to register: Disabled seminar - 1 September, Women seminar - 15 September, Black seminar – 6 October and LGBT+ seminar – 3 November

*Please note, ‘Black’ is used in the political context to apply to people who are Asian, Chinese, African, African/Caribbean, Arabic etc. i.e. people from African and Asian Diaspora, including people of dual heritage.
