PCS civil service members taking action on 1 February

Ahead of our one-day strike of 100,000 civil service members on 1 February we are encouraging all those involved to join a Facebook live meeting, which you can also watch on Zoom, at 6.30pm on 25 January.

The PCS national executive committee has agreed to call the strike of all members in employers where the turnout passed the 50% threshold required by law for action in our ballot last year.

The meeting, chaired by PCS President Fran Heathcote, will hear from PCS General Secretary Mark Serwotka. Email your questions in advance to editor@pcs.org.uk

You can join us either by following the live videos link on Facebook or by visiting our Facebook page at the start of the broadcast when you should see the broadcast starting automatically in your news feed. Like our page to receive notifications when we post news. You do not need to have a Facebook account to watch a live event on the platform.

Live streams are available to viewers with or without a Facebook account. Viewers without a Facebook account can access the stream directly using the live stream URL. 

You can also watch on Zoom by signing up online. A zoom link will be sent to you before the meeting.
