The trade union and labour movement in London has celebrated May Day for over 130 years and it is an important focus for working class solidarity.
It has formed a key part of the fight against austerity and attacks on trade union rights. Over the years we have been joined by those in dispute and the migrant worker communities in London.
The rally, which will take place in Trafalgar Square, will be addressed by PCS NEC member, Angela Grant and RMT general secretary, Mick Lynch.
The rally will be preceded by a march from Clerkenwell Green.
