Glasgow May Day

Start date
End date
Location
Central Glasgow
Who's it for
All PCS members and supporters

Glasgow Trades Council has invited PCS to lead the May Day march, in recognition of the all-member and targeted strike action taken by PCS members in our dispute over pay, pensions and jobs.

The rally at Queens Park will be addressed by speakers from across the trade union movement, including PCS NEC member Liz McGachey.

This is a great opportunity for PCS members to show our collective strength on the streets of Glasgow. PCS members will be meeting at the Robert Burns statue in George Square from 11am to organise our bloc. Please come along, and bring your friends, family, flags and banners – and anything that can make some noise!

Glasgow is a workers' city, and let’s make it a May Day to remember.
