The National Disabled Members' Forum (NDMF) invites members and reps to join them in attending an online event.

This event will focus on understanding the barriers and challenges disabled members face in the workplace. We want to raise awareness of how disability impacts members' working lives and what support is required to fulfil their roles.

What can employers, managers and colleagues do to provide better support for disabled members in the workplace? How can we promote positive mental health and wellbeing for our members? Do members know their rights around disability?

The event will be hosted by PCS deputy president Bev Laidlaw, the chair of the National Disabled Members' Forum (NDMF).

Speakers - National Disabled Members' Forum reps

Austin Harney, MoJ rep

Cathy Darcan, Northern Ireland rep

There will be an opportunity for disabled members to share experiences too.

We will also ask members to complete a short poll to identify other topics for future lunchtime events.

The event will be recorded.

Register using the link below by Tuesday 24 September 4pm.
