Richard Norton-Taylor is an award-winning former defence and security editor of the Guardian and editor of a number of plays taken from public inquiries. They include The Colour of Justice on the racist murder of the black teenager, Stephen Lawrence, and Bloody Sunday, the shooting of unarmed civil rights marchers in Derry by British paratroopers. His latest book is The State of Secrecy.
Renowned journalist Richard Norton-Taylor says next Saturday’s PCS-TUC national march in Cheltenham is a timely event given the present government’s attempts to weaken trade unions
