Responding to the news that no refugee flights to Rwanda will take off before the General Election, PCS Head of Bargaining Paul O'Connor said: “PCS has campaigned against this inhumane policy since its inception, so we’re delighted it looks like it’s history.
“It was our members who would have had to implement the scheme, and it’s our members whose determination helped defeat it.
“We call on the new government to work with us and support our Safe Passage policy.” ends
