Updated guidance for Branch and Group treasurers

New guidance is available for treasurers to help comply with PCS policies and procedures and ensure branches and groups remain on a sustainable financial footing.

Being a treasurer of a PCS branch or group is a very important role. Treasurers are responsible for looking after the branch’s income and expenditure and are answerable to the branch members at the annual general meeting.

The branch or group executive committees will also look to the treasurer for advice when any issue arises that has a financial element. Our guidance is designed to provide advice to enable treasurers to carry out their duties effectively.
