PCS Scotland values the professional development of our members and as such encourages participation in lifelong learning opportunities.
Our network of learning reps actively pursues areas of the skills agenda to empower our members in developing the skills and knowledge that will enable them to progress in the workplace.
PCS Scotland’s learning and skills strategy provides opportunities for our members to undertake skills development training. The training is designed to assist individuals in being more confident and proficient in their current roles and provide them with the skills that will help them be better placed for progression.
Our learning and skills strategy in Scotland continues to be supported by funding from the Scottish government and European Social Fund, administered through STUC’s Scottish Union Learning.
