Welsh teachers' union rejects pension deal

The union for teachers who work in Welsh has rejected the government's latest pension proposals.

The executive of UCAC voted unanimously against the changes to the teachers’ pension scheme, and to keep open the option of strike action.

Four other education unions have joined with PCS to urge members to support a co-ordinated walk-out over public sector pensions on Wednesday, 28 March.
