Join the Emmeline Pankhurst celebration picnic

To mark the anniversary of suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst's birthday, the group London for Democracy is holding a picnic in Victoria Tower gardens - the park between parliament and Lambeth bridge.
Come along from 2-6pm dressed in the suffragette colours of green white and purple, and bring food and drink to share with others as well as any flags or banners you want to hold. As part of the celebrations there will be an opportunity for discussion and brainstorming about campaigning.
Flowers will be laid at Emmeline’s statue and there will be special guest speakers in attendance.
