Stand with the Greeks against austerity

15 June 2012

The people of Greece face an unprecedented economic and political crisis - show them solidarity as they go to the polls on Sunday.

The Greek people are being driven to poverty and mass unemployment by the demands of the so-called Troika - the European Union, the European Central Bank and the IMF.

There is a demonstration, called by the Greece Solidarity Campaign, at 2pm on Sunday at the European Union Commission at 32 Smith Square, London, to show solidarity to the people of Greece.

Hospitals in Greece are running out of basic medicines, nearly half of all young people are unemployed, some workers have not been paid for months, and many people are forced to resort to soup kitchens or scavenge from rubbish dumps.

Come and show your support on Sunday (17 June) when the Greek people go to the polls again.
