Make sure you vote

25 April 2012

PCS members have a vital role to play in the democracy of the union electing key national and group officials ahead of our annual conference.

As a democratic union, PCS’s policies and priorities are decided at our annual conference, which takes place in Brighton from 23-25 May. This is the largest gathering of members’ representatives in the union’s calendar.

You should by now have received a ballot paper to vote in elections for the union’s national executive and group executive committees.

Read NEC election statements, important documents and information related to elections for conference, as well as key dates.

For group executive candidate statements refer to your group’s web pages or contact your group's offices.

The deadline for receipt of completed ballot papers for the NEC elections is noon, on Thursday, 10 May. Votes received after this deadline shall not be counted. Results will be announced the following day.

Group elections are now open and close on Wednesday, 16 May, with results announced the following day.

Use your vote and play your part in the democracy of the union.
