There are four PCS equality forums, which are organised by the Equality, Health and Safety department as follows:
In addition there is a self-organising group who campaign on issues relating to lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people, known as Proud. Proud members elect a national committee and representatives for each PCS region.

Each forum specifically targets and encourages participation of members from that specific group i.e. the black members' committee aims it's activities at black members of the union.
Each forum, with the exception of the national health & safety forum, organises an annual seminar for PCS members.
